Concepcion Hernandez
July 30, 1921 — December 13, 2016
Concepcion M. Hernandez went to be with the Lord on December 13th, 2016, at the age of 95. She was born in Robstown, Texas on the 30th of July, 1921 to Secundino and Dolores Martinez. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grand mother, and great-great grandmother. She will be remembered for her love of crocheting, gardening and spending time outdoors with all of her family. She will be greatly missed. Concepcion was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Emiterio Hernandez, a daughter, Esperanza Rendon, son Ramon Hernandez and a grand daughter Sarah Aleman. She is survived by her son Gregorio Hernandez and daughters Clara Rivas, Connie Garcia, Dolores Gallegos (Joe) and Lucia Estrada (Rudy). She also leaves behind 11 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 42 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, December 18th, 2016 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Tx. 78239 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 19th, 2016 at 10:00 AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Schertz, Tx. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
