Carmen Cantu

Carmen R. Cantu, born in New Braunfels, Texas, July 25th, 1926, went to be with her Lord on August 29th, 2016. She passed peacefully away at home surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edilio Cantu, Sr., her parents, Jose and Antonia Reyes, her two younger sisters and an older brother. She is survived by her four sons, Edilio, Jr., Ernest, Ramiro and Raul; three sisters, Elisa Reyes, Yolanda Valdez and Sylvia Baea; a brother, Jesus and many nieces and nephews. We love you, Mom, and will miss you very much. Visitation will be at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 7735 Gibbs Sprawl Rd., San Antonio, Tx 78239, on Monday, September 5th, 2016, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A rosary will be at 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be Tuesday, September 6th at St. Monica's Catholic Church in Converse, Tx., with burial to follow at Guadalupe Cemetery in Converse, Tx.
