Billy Langley

October 1, 1928 — January 7, 2019

A beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Bill Langley passed away on Dec. 27th, 2018 in the comforts of his San Antonio home. He was married 63 magical years to the love of his life Anna Langley. Together they had two beautiful children, who loved him greatly. He was an exceptional father and husband who always provided and took care of his family.

He joined the Army in 1944, where he served his country for 28 years and retired as a Master Sergeant. After serving, he eventually started his own remodeling business on top of doing many things he loved, including enjoying time hunting and fishing, avidly gardening, attending church with his beloved wife, and bringing the community together. One of his greatest past times was to play dominoes, which his friends would testify to his great playing ability!

He leaves behind quite the legacy, but most of all he leaves behind his cherished wife Anna, dearest son and daughter Johann, Patricia, and surviving brother Dan and his wife, wonderful Wanda, loving son and daughter in law Richard and Schell, grandson Jordan and his wife Cory and granddaughter Brindl, and all his extended family. He understood the importance of having priorities in life. His were God, family, and country and he remained faithful to all three, in that order. A memorial will be held at Fort Sam National Cemetery at 10:45am, January 8, 2019.
