Benigno Guevara

Benigno Guevara, age 94, passed away on December 7, 2020 in San Antonio, Texas. Benigno was born on August 19, 1926 in Lulling, Texas to Jose Guevara and Petra Ramirez. In 1965, Benigno wed Guadalupe Lopez in Mexico.

Benigno Guevara is survived by his son Jose Guevara Jr.; his siblings, Juanita de Hoyos of Crystal, Texas, Christine Ramirez of Converse, Texas, Maria de Jesus Gonzalez of Mexico, and Alejandra Rodriguez of San Antonio, Texas; and his grandchildren, John Guevara and Meghan Guevara.

Benigno was a master landscaper who was able to retire at the age of 62. He was known to be a kid at heart. His presence will be greatly missed.

A Visitation Service for Benigno will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Thursday, December 10, 2020 at 6:00pm with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30pm. Funeral Services will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral home on Friday, December 11, 2020 at 10:00am. He will be buried at Chapel Hill Memorial Park shortly after.
