Aurora Gallegos was one of the most loving and humble souls on the planet. To just have known her was a gift, but to be loved by her was truly a blessing. She was always extremely gracious, willing to help someone in need, putting others before herself. She was always ready to share the word of God with whom she could. Always full of love and laughter. One of her greatest joys was her beloved dog Kootie, who always brought a smile to her face, laughter to her heart and a great sense of protection. One would have to say that they were not just best friends but family. Aurora was called home to be with the Lord on May 21, 2018 to be reunited with her beloved brothers, Margarito Gallegos, John Gallegos and Joe Gallegos. Aurora was born April 10, 1936 in San Antonio, Texas where she resided until the Lord took her home. I am positive her brothers awaited her at the pearly gates. She is survived by her nieces, nephews, and her very best friend, Kootie. A visitation will be held at Chapel Hill Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 29th, 2018 at 5:00pm with a funeral service the next day at 10:00am.
