Abelardo Lopez Sr.

Abelardo P. Lopez, Sr., 85, of San Antonio, Texas, passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Northeast Baptist Hospital. He was born to Felix Lopez and Porfiria Partida Lopez in San Antonio, Texas on May 20, 1936.

He was a caring and giving person and enjoyed helping people. Loved spending time with his family.

He loved plants and watching old western movies.

He traveled to California, Hawaii and Grand Canyon.

We will miss him.

He is survived by his children: son, Abelardo Lopez, Jr. and wife Margie; daughter, Lucinda Lopez and husband Eddy Correa; daughter, Doreen Bolanos and husband, Jose; daughter, Debra Lopez; and mother of his children, Dora Lopez; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Roger Lopez; one brother and five sisters.

Public Visitation will begin 5:00 PM Thursday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home and will continue until 8:00 PM. A Chapel Service will be held 10:00 AM Friday, April 1, 2022 at Chapel Hill Funeral Home with interment to follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Park.
